Documentation

This template renders text in a monospace font (in which all the characters have the same width), also known as "typewriter type". It is equivalent to the <tt> HTML element.

This template is used on a great many pages. Making any changes to it will cause lots of jobs to be added to the processing queue.

Usage

As seen in the first example, when given no input the template returns the word "monospace". This is probably going to change in the future.
