Bohemian Rhapsody is a 1975 song by the British rock band Queen, written by lead vocalist and pianist Freddie Mercury. It was released on the band's fourth studio album, A Night at the Opera, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock songs of all time.[1]scope: entire paragraph

Angelina first sang a snippet of the song with Egil Clausen on guitar in June 2019, which she posted a couple weeks later on her Instagram. In early October that year, she performed it in her own stripped down arrangement in her audition on America's Got Talent: The Champions, which was broadcast on 2020-01-06. It was very well received, leading to indirectly to her signing with Republic Records. She later stated multiple times, that "the song has changed [her] live in so many beautiful ways", and – as of mid 2026 – performend it in the following years more often in concerts and guest-appearances than any other title.

Song structure and lyrics

Angelina used elements from all parts but the opera one of the song, but turned it into a much more homogeneous piece, accompanied only sparsely by guitar and piano.

  1. It starts with an a cappella intro which uses only the last line of the original intro:

Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me

  2. Then it continues with the 2nd verse of the ballad part:

Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
    Mama, ooh
    I don't wanna die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

  3. A central vocal run replaces the guitar solo, while the opera part is skipped:

    Ohhh-ohhh-ohhh

  4. It then continues smoothly with the last two lines of the hard rock part:

Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here

  5. It finishes with the full outro, with the second "ohh, yeah" replaced by humming:

    Ooh
    Ooh, yeah, mmm-hmmm-hmm
Nothing really matters, anyone can see
    Nothing really matters
    Nothing really matters to me

Performances by Angelina

2019 America's Got Talent: The Champions 2

In early October 2019, she performed the song in the audition of America's Got Talent: The Champions, which was broadcast on 2020-01-06. Here she presented the first time her original arrangement.

This performance was appraised by Queen themselves, who twittered "Wow! What a rendition of #BohemianRhapsody @angelinajordanA 👏👏 #AGTChampions https://t.co/QYn41RlLRW", sharing a post of a clip of the performance by AGT just zwei days after it was aired.[2]

It also became Angelina's most popular performance. The most successful video was uploaded – two days after her performance on was aired – by the "MovieClips" fan channel, but was unfortunately deleted with it in May 2026 (or late April). It had gathered more than 110 million views at the time, and was prior to that still gaining a couple million new ones per year.[3]

2020 Track release

As of mid 2026, this is still Angelina's most popular released digital single.

There are several clips, that show her singing the first verse.

Early 2019 practice

The first is reportedly from early 2019, wherre she practiced the 1st verse, accompanying herself on piano.[4]

Mid June 2019 Instagram snippet

On 2019-06-13, apparently while being in Stockholm for the Brilliant Minds Conference, she had an Instagram livestream from a hotel. About three weeks later, she uploaded this cover from the same setting, singing first verse of the song, accompanied by Egil Clausen on guitar:
