Documentation

This template is used to markup template parameter values in template documentation (or talk page discussions, etc.). Template:Tp can be used to markup template parameter names. (Currently they look exactly the same, but this may change in the future.)

Also, Template:Tpvv can be used to markup template parameter variable values, which are wrapped in a <var> element to indicate their "variable" nature.

This template does not complain about missing input. The default value (when no input is provided) is the label "parameter_value", as seen above.

The template should not be used in articles.
