This template makes it easier to quickly look up information about a song at various websites while editing articles. It is not intended to be seen by readers, so when using it in articles please only use it when previewing your edits and then remove it before saving the page. (It can also be used on talk pages, user pages, etc.) The template places pages into Category:Pages containing songlinks in order to detect when it has been saved in an article (this might be improved later using namespace checking).
The expected input is a song title, but it can also be an album title or, indeed, anything else that it makes sense to look up in any of these places. The template doesn't complain about missing input; instead it uses the title of the calling page.
The meaning of the labels (and the resources linked to) are as follows:

| YAJ | YouTube search for "Angelina Jordan" plus the input |
| YAJR | YouTube search for "Angelina Jordan react" plus the input (to find reaction videos, which sometimes contain useful information) |
| D | Discogs "all releases" search |
| A | AllMusic search (via a Google "sitesearch") |
| G | Google search |
