Template:Delete/doc

Documentation

This template should be used at the top of pages that should be deleted for some reason. The reason can be given in any of the ways shown below. (Although it is not technically necessary to provide a reason, it's a good thing to do. If no reason is given, the word "none" is used, as seen above.)

The template places pages in Category:Pages to be deleted.

Usage

• {{delete|reason}}
• {{delete|1=reason}}
• {{delete|reason=reason}}

All of these are equivalent, but the second form is necessary if the reason contains an equals sign (alternatively, {{=}} can be used with any of the forms).
