Documentation
This template currently does absolutely nothing, but might eventually indicate the status of tagged articles visually in some way. It is intended to be used only in the main namespace, and only (so far) for the benefit of people actively editing an article (since readers can't see it). Th recommended placement of the template call is at the very top of the article wikitext.
The purpose of the template is to track the development of articles, indicating what has been done and/or what still needs to be done to get them into a marginally useful state.

As noted above, the template currently totally ignores its input. This might change in the future.
