Documentation

This template provides a line break with the style clear:both. It is usually used to fix awkward text alignment or line-breaking problems caused by "floated" images, tables, etc.

This template is used on a great many pages. Making any changes to it will cause lots of jobs to be added to the processing queue.

Usage

• {{-}}
• {{-|left}}
• {{-|right}}

The second form uses the style clear:left, causing the line-break to only take into account content floated to the left and not anything floated to the right; the third form uses clear:right to achieve the opposite effect.

The same thing can be accomplished using {{-|left}}, since the images are floated to the left.
