Documentation
This template outputs a left-square-bracket character, [, for use in contexts where that would otherwise be interpreted as wiki markup for forming a link. The same thing can be accomplished using the HTML character entity [. (For two such characters, [[, use {{((}} or [[.)
Note that this template is not equivalent to the one at Wikipedia with the same name↗, which outputs a left-curly-brace character (for which see {{lb}}).

Any input to the template is ignored, as seen in the examples below.
