Norske Talenter contestant numbers
In the first two rounds of Norske Talenter, the contestants can be seen wearing 4-digit numbers, sometimes followed by the letter "D". This is an explanation of what these contestant numbers mean, and a record of which contestants had which numbers in Angelina's season of the show.

First digit
The first digit of the number indicates where the contestant was located to by signing on, and where he/she was performing in the precasts. + . +

Last 3 digits
Starting with 000, most likely the order of the signing on. It is confirmed that it is also the order of entries in the precasts. Ex: Contestant # 3000, the beatboxer Christian, was the first to perform on the precast in Bergen.
D
Probably a label for acts going directly to the main auditions on a basis of a video or other known abilities without having to be tested at a precast. It is an assumption that D signifies "Direkte" (Directly)
