"Mercy" is a 2008 song by Welsh singer-songwriter Duffy. Written by Duffy and Steve Booker, it was released as the second single from her debut studio album, Rockferry.^{↗scope: entire paragraph}

Angelina first uploaded an a cappella snipped from the parking garage of the song in mid 2021 to her TikTok. By the time she had likely already covered the song for the 2021 movie "The Hating Game"^↗, which was released late in the year, where it was used in the opening scene and was released as part of the official soundtrack. She later performed it in her 2022 summer concert tour, at her Portsmouth concert in September 2023, and finally in her two Las Vegas concerts on leap day 2024.
