Jordan
Jordan is Angelina's middle name, not her last name (or family name), which is Astar. Before she became famous, Angelina regularly went by the name Jordan. She is still called that by her family.
Origin
The name Jordan comes from the Jordan River↗ (also known as the River Jordan) in the Middle East↗.[1]
Use
Angelina was called Jordan a lot when she was younger. Several YouTube videos of her posted in mid-2013, well before her audition for Norske Talenter, use only the name Jordan in their titles, including Jordan superstar↗ and Jordan superstar!↗, posted by sara slatmann, and jordan superstar↗, jordan superstar↗, and jordan essuperstar↗ (the last two of which now have different titles), posted by Hanne Tinderholt. One video posted by Martin Toft on 2013-12-03 is titled simply Jordan↗.
In a 2013-12-13 Facebook post by Mery Zamani↗, Angelina is referred to as "the singer Jordan Astar". Sara also posted a YouTube video on 2014-02-06 called Jordan astar↗.
After her "Gloomy Sunday" audition for Norske Talenter, in the celebrations backstage, a woman can be heard calling out, "Jordan!"↗.
Angelina is still called Jordan by her mother[1] and sister.[2]
Pet bird
When she was very young, Angelina had a pet bird that was named Jordan.[3]
