Cry Me a River is a 1953 song written by Arthur Hamilton and first popularized in 1955 by Julie London. It has since become a jazz standard and has been covered by numerous artists across multiple genres.[1]scope: entire paragraph
Angelina first performed the song live in her 2017 summer concert tour with a jazz band. She recorded it later that year with the Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps for the album It's Magic, which was released on 2018-06-15[2]. Angelina presented this version live with all other songs from the album at its premiere concert on 2018-06-16, a day after the album release. She also performed it the next month at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
