"Are You Lonesome Tonight?" is a song written by Roy Turk and Lou Handman in 1926, and first recorded by Charles Hart in 1927. The song charted↗ in versions by Vaughn De Leath↗ and Henry Burr↗ later that same year, and by the Blue Barron Orchestra↗ in 1950. Its greatest success was as a 1960 single by Elvis, reaching number one on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in November 1960, and eventually being certified double platinum↗ by the RIAA↗ in 1992.[1]
Angelina posted an informal cover of the song, singing over a karaoke track, in (apparently) 2018.[2]
