"What Is Life" is a song written by Angelina, and the first original she released. It was first recorded in late 2017 with the Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps for the album It's Magic, and released as its lead single on 2018-06-01[1]. She also uploaded an acoustic version on her official YouTube channel at the time.
Two weeks later, Angelina premiered the title live with all other songs from the album at its premiere concert on 2018-06-16, a day after the album release. She performed it the next month twice at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, and then in late December at her Christmas concerts. She finally performed it in her 2019 summer concert tour.
