Michael Astar

Michael Astar is Angelina's uncle (her mother's brother) and her manager. He is the dark-haired man often seen in pictures and videos with Angelina and her mother (for this reason, he is often taken to be her father, who is actually a light-haired man named Gerry Slattman). Michael's mother is the Iranian artist and poet Mery Zamani. The name of his father is apparently not known by the general public, but it is known that he was Japanese. Both Michael and Angelina's mother, Sara, grew up for a time in Japan, and both speak Japanese, as well as Norwegian, English, and Persian.
