"Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye" is a jazz standard written by Cole Porter and first performed in 1944 by Nan Wynn and Jere McMahon backed by the Benny Goodman Quintet in the Broadway musical revue Seven Lively Arts.

Angelina first performed the song on a Facebook livestream in January 2016, celebrating that she had reached 100k followers on that social media platform. Later in early August that year she performed it on TV 2's Good Sommer Norge show, and a couple days later at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival. She then performed it a final time three years later in July 2019 at her summer concert tour.

Original recording

First performed in public at the premier in December 1944 of the Seven Lively Arts musical for which it was written, the song had already been recorded in November by the Benny Goodman Quintet (who also played in the musical), but with vocals by Peggy Mann. The recording was then released in March 1945, when it became the first version that charted:
