"(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" is a song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, based on a suggestion by producer Jerry Wexler (for which they gave him a writing credit). It was originally recorded and released by Aretha Franklin in 1967, four years before King would record it for her own 1971 album, Tapestry↗.[1]
