The Echo extension^↗ has been enabled on this wiki, and some additional email-related preferences have been enabled. This allows you to be emailed and/or notified through the normal wiki interface when various events happen, like when someone edits your talk page or when someone mentions ("pings") you by linking to your user page in a (signed) new comment or reply on any talk page. See the "User profile" and "Notifications" sections in your Special:Preferences to configure the new features the way you want. If you are familiar with these things from, say, Wikipedia, be advised that not all the same features are enabled here. For example, emails cannot be sent out daily or weekly, only immediately or not at all. (This might change in the future.) Leave a message for the admin if something is not working as expected.
