Documentation

This template is used to mark a statement of opinion. It (currently) does not mark the text in any way that is visible to the reader, so any text so marked should be phrased in a way that makes it clear that an opinion is being given. If no input is given, the template uses the word "opinion", as seen above.

Articles containing calls to this template are listed in Category:Articles containing opinions so they may be improved in the future (for example, by finding a source that supports the opinion with facts, quotations, etc.).

Usage

• {{opinion|1=text containing equals sign}}

One can also use {{=}} to accomplish the same thing as the third form (see last example below).

• In the {{opinion}} of many people, she sings amazingly well. ⇒ In the opinion of many people, she sings amazingly well.
• {{opinion|Many people think she sings amazingly well.}} ⇒ Many people think she sings amazingly well.
• {{opinion|1=Angelina + jazz = happiness}} ⇒ Angelina + jazz = happiness
• {{opinion|Angelina + jazz {{=}} happiness}} ⇒ Angelina + jazz = happiness
