Help:Whitespace

Whitespace is text that does not contain any visible characters (like letters, numbers, symbols, etc.). Examples of whitespace^↗ include normal space characters (like the ones between pairs of adjacent words in this paragraph), tab characters (which generally should not be used on this wiki), and newlines. Whitespace is handled differently in various kinds of template calls and calls to MediaWiki parser functions. See Template:Test-params and Template:Test-if for details.
