Mery Zamani

Mery Zamani is Angelina's maternal grandmother (her mother's mother). She is an Iranian artist and poet who, like Angelina, was a child prodigy. Mery's children include Sara Astar (Angelina's mother) and Michael Astar (Angelina's uncle and manager). It is not known whether she has any other children. Mery lived for a time in Japan (where Sara and Michael grew up) with Angelina's maternal grandfather, who was Japanese.
