Documentation

This template is used to mark text that goes beyond known facts and may well be found to be false in the future. It (currently) does not mark the text in any way that is visible to the reader, so any text so marked should be phrased in a way that makes the uncertainty obvious (using, for example, words like "presumably" or "probably", or phrases like "it is assumed").

Articles containing calls to this template are listed in Category:Articles containing assumptions so they may be improved in the future (for example, by seeking out evidence for or against the marked statement).

The template complains about missing input, as seen above.
