"Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" is a song written in 1966 by Sonny Bono and first released in the same year by Cher, who was his wife at the time. Also in the same year, Nancy Sinatra released a very successful cover that remains the best known version of the song today, mainly due its use in Quentin Tarantino's^↗ 2003 film Kill Bill Volume 1^↗.
