Template:Boilerplate new cover song/doc

Documentation

This is a special template used by the MultiBoilerplate extension^↗. It is still under development.

It is not intended to be transcluded (or substituted) directly into a page via a normal {{template call}}. Instead, it is accessed by selecting the item "Cover song" from the "Select boilerplate" drop-down menu that appears at the top of the page when you are creating a new page. (Obviously, it should only be selected if you are actually creating a new article about a cover song.)

Note: For the moment, the way new cover-song articles should be created (assuming they are not for songs Angelina has never covered before, as of mid October 2025) is via a link on the page AJW:Preload-links with performances listings per song. If the song is not listed there, then it must be a brand-new, first-time cover, in which case, sure, go ahead and use the "Cover song" menu item, as described above.
