Note that:
{{SERVER}}→ https://www.angelina-jordan.net{{fullurl:Foo}}→ https://www.angelina-jordan.net/wiki/Foo{{fullurl:Foo|action=edit}}→ https://www.angelina-jordan.net/w/index.php?title=Foo&action=edit{{fullurl:Foo|action=edit&preload=Blah}}→ https://www.angelina-jordan.net/w/index.php?title=Foo&action=edit&preload=Blah
All of these URLs are being autolinked by the software. The actual output in every case is not a link but just plain text. So, for example:
[{{fullurl:Foo|action=edit&preload=Blah}} blah]→ blah
And:
{{plainlinks|[{{fullurl:Foo|action=edit&preload=Blah}} blah]}}→ blah
(This last one is based on the local template {{plainlinks}}.)
Notice how fullurl automatically chooses between /wiki/ and /w/index.php baed on whether there's a query string, which is pretty neat. See Help:Magic words#URL data↗ for more possibilities.
