Usage

  • {{ytvl|video ID|Video Title|t=|song=|w-title=|no-w=|length=|date=|provided=|channel-name=|note=}}
  • {{ytvl|v=|t=|title=|song=|w-title=|no-w=|length=|date=|provided=|channel-name=|note=}}

All parameters except the video ID number (v or first positional parameter) and the video title (title or second positional parameter) are optional.

The parameter t can be used to specify the timepoint you want to link to. The value must be understood by YouTube, so use things like 89s or 1m29s.

The parameter w-title can be used to specify a Wikipedia article title that differs from the song title. For example, if song=All I Ask, then you can use w-title=All I Ask (Adele song). Or you can set no-w to any non-whitespace value (e.g., y) to suppress the Wikipedia link entirely. (Note that using an empty value for w-title= doesn't accomplish the same thing if you have given a value for song, as that value will be used instead.)

The shorter cn can be used instead of channel-name to specify the channel the video is linked to (i.e., the channel the video appears to be uploaded to).
