Sara Astar

Sara Astar is Angelina's mother. She has been described as Norwegian, but it is not clear where she was born. Her brother, Michael Astar, is Angelina's manager. Sara's mother is the Iranian poet and artist Mery Zamani. The name of Sara's father is apparently not known by the general public, but it is known that he was Japanese (he died in 2018). Both Sara and Michael grew up for a time in Japan, and both speak Japanese, as well as Norwegian and English. Presumably, they also speak Farsi, but direct evidence of this seems to be difficult to come by. Since Angelina's father (Gerry Slattman) is Swedish, it is possible Sara and Angelina can also speak at least some Swedish.
